Application Process
Whom we seek
Chesterton Academy of Mandan, and the Mandan Classical Academy seeks students who are eager to pursue truth, goodness, beauty, and virtue through a classical liberal arts curriculum rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition.
Enrollment for grades 6-9 for Mandan Classical Academy will open 4/7/26.
Enrollment for grades 9-10 for Chesterton Academy of Mandan will open in 2027.

Step 1: Inquire

Admissions will be handled on a first come, first served basis. We are capping the number of students we accept and we are confident the spots will fill up fast, so please apply as soon as possible!
Step 2: Apply
Each family (student and parents) will take part in an interview with the Headmaster. The purpose is to ensure that both the family and the school are a good fit for one another.
The Headmaster will determine if a second interview is necessary with a board representative and faculty members.
Step 3: Interview
After the application process is complete, and all materials have been reviewed and approved by Academy staff, students will receive an acceptance letter.
Step 4: Acceptance
Finally, after acceptance, you are ready to enroll in the school! This involves signing a tuition agreement, setting up tuition payments, meeting the other students, families, staff, and teachers, and preparing for the upcoming school year!

We base our admissions, employment and operational decisions on the Church’s teachings on faith and morals, which promote the dignity of all persons created in the image and likeness of God.
